Who is the training for?

What will the training cover?

This extended 3-hour workshop goes beyond awareness to equip managers with practical tools and confidence to take action.
Participants will:

  • Deepen understanding of menopause stages, symptoms, and impact – including lesser-known symptoms such as brain fog, anxiety, and fatigue.
  • Explore why menopause is a workplace issue, including key statistics and the business case for support.
  • Learn how to break the stigma and create a more open and inclusive culture.
  • Review legal duties and developments – including Equality Act 2010 responsibilities, ACAS & CIPD guidance, and global trends in menopause-friendly workplaces.
  • Practise how to have open and supportive conversations.
  • Identify reasonable adjustments and flexible approaches that make a real difference.
  • Learn from best-practice examples from organisations such as Channel 4, NHS, HSBC and PwC.
  • Reflect on how to apply learning in their own workplace through group discussion and scenario-based exercises.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Recognise common symptoms and their impact on work and wellbeing.
  • Approach sensitive conversations with empathy and confidence.
  • Understand the legal and cultural context of menopause at work.
  • Identify practical adjustments and support mechanisms to help employees thrive.
  • Contribute to a menopause-inclusive and supportive culture.
